Internship/Clinical Supervision
Description:
The Rochester Center for Children offers exciting opportunities for individuals seeking internship opportunities related to psychotherapy. Kelli Branstad, MA, LMFT is a MN Marriage & Family Therapy Board approved supervisor for individuals in an approved intership/practicum program for Marriage & Family Therapy. In addition, individuals who have graduated with their Master's Degree and are seeking supervision for hours leading toward licensure as a marriage & family therapist are invited to inquire about possibilites.
Intership experiences allow for a paid opportunity to gain hands-on experiences both with skils work & with psychotherapy experiences with individuals, couples, and families. An emphasis on working with children is part of this opportunity. Master's level internships and pre-licensure internsihps include regular supervision as required by the educational institution or as agreed upon by the clinical supervisor and the clinical trainee prior to engaging in a supervision contract.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostic assessments
- Help clients progress toward their goals and manage mental health symptoms by providing therapy & skills to youth, adults, and families
- Maintain all required documentation
- Maintain progress toward licensure and follow requirements of supervision as applicable
